Sam has been around for a long time and has a good rep, so I'm not saying
that is the case here -- I would guess he had a very good reason for posting a
public warning -- but the problem I have with this kind of general, non-specific
warning is that without the details how do we know what happened and if
the complaint is genuine or if there is just a grudge or a feud being carried
on? Without details, it is could be just rumor and innuendo... how can you
know? For a public warning to be truly effective, it should contain the
details. If nothing else, it warns others exactly what to look out for.

Subject: [MOPO] Italian dealer warning To all movie poster dealers & collectors,,
I wanted to warn everybody in the movie poster world about a dishonest
Italian dealer that I had a very bad experience with. His name is Gian Maria
Rossi. I won't bore anyone with all the details but he (and his father) are
liars and not to be trusted. I will be happy to give anyone the specifics but if
you hear from him, run the other way as fast as you can.
I do want to thank the Italian and other dealer's who helped me deal with
this mess. Some have had similarly unpleasant experiences with these people and
I really appreciate their assistance. -- Regards,
