Channing, I noticed that -- during the next 7 days -- there are 100,245 individual items listed for auction on eBay in the "Posters > Original-US" category alone. That's over 100,000 theoretically-original posters each and every week. That's a lot of wading.
I don't suppose it is necessary to remind anyone that this is the reason I decided to start http://www.MoviePosterBid.com in the first place -- to create a smaller, more specialized marketplace that was more easily shopped -- and more practical to monitor against less-than-honest dealings? But, ironically, the single biggest criticism directed at MPB ever since I started it has been that... you guessed it... "it isn't big enough." *sigh...* -- JR ----- Original Message ----- From: "channinglylethomson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 1:34 Subject: [MOPO] Thoughts on EBAY Auctions with Hundreds of Items Ending at Same Time > I was going through the auctions ending on EBAY in the next 24 hours > and there were literally hundreds of posters for auction, many for just > a few dollars each.
