Very glad to hear that both collections appear to be intact for the forseeable future, Ron. It always saddens me to see a great group of valuable, beautiful material like this scattered about to the four winds in a sale. (Look at what happened to Forrest Ackerman.)A museum would be the ideal place for any of these posters. They really are a piece of our history and deserve to be preserved, preferably someplace where they can be seen & appreciated. In the meantime, I'll see if I can cook up another rumor about someone. Here we go...say, have you heard about Phillip and those girl scouts at the Holiday Inn in North Hollywood....?

Hi Greg and Phillip,
I haven't talked to Ron, but after knowing him these many years, I can't even begin to believe that he would be selling off his collection. In fact, he had told me quite a while back that he had already made plans for the collection to go to a museum after he's gone. So,as to this rumor, I can only expect it's one of those situations where someone heard Dennis Thomas passed away and then assumed his collection would be up for sale. By the time the rumor got around Dennis's collection probably became Ron's collection. And lest I start another rumor, from my current understanding, Dennis's wife is planning on keeping his collection as well.
