We usually talk about deals gone bad but I must report about a very
nice dealer and very honest dealer. I worked a Bond trade with Colin
MacLeod who is Kymar on e-bay. His store is Kymar's Stuff. He had a two
sheet rolled from "Octopussy" that I wanted. He had it graded as near mint.
I offered him a set of 1968 re-release lobby cards from "Thunderball/From Russia
With Love" for the 40 x 60. This is a "vintage" Connery set of re-release full
color cards but I really wanted the rolled two sheet.Usually condition is a
problem with so many of these two sheets. I asked Colin about condition in
regards to the "Octopussy" rolled two sheet. He provided numerous pictures of
tiny imperfections on the poster and was extremely honest. I think he might
very well be one of the most honest and accurate dealer's as far as condition I
have encountered. I have been at this since 1973. I received the
poster yesterday and it is MINT and perfect. It's just a pleasure to do business
with someone like Colin. I highly recommend him. I don't know if he does have a
store front in LA. or just the e-bay store. But it was wonderful to do
business with such an honest and kind person. I wanted to mention this.
