There have been a few reproductions of half-sheets... and this is one of them. They are usually correct in all details and the proper size, but the paper is all wrong. No, a genuine original would not be as glossy as this one appears to be be. It is amusing to see a seller with only (5) feedbacks assuring us that is "the real deal straight from 1939" and yet offering no detailed description or authenticating data at all... not even a largish picture. The fact that he started the bidding so low indicates that he knows it is a repro -- even a total newbie should know a genuine 1939 WIZARD OF OZ poster is worth quite a chunk of change.

Anyone have any input on this poster?  Would it be glossy like that?  Genuine or another knock off that was made when grandma was 81 and not 18....
