Hello. Does anyone know who currently owns the three-sheet poster with
Hirschfeld artwork from "A Day at the Races?" It was lot #139 in the 28
October 2000 The World of Movie Posters Sotheby's catalog.
It is a fantastic--and most likely one of a kind--color Hirschfeld
painting of Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and a horse sitting at a table drinking
various beverages.
Would love to make that image the cover artwork to the Hirschfeld's Marx
Brothers book, but my current image is only a copy from the catalog--and
would not look crisp enough that size.
