Subject: Re: [MOPO] MARX BROTHERS COCONAUTS LOBBY CARDS
Michael - I think the discussion stopped because there was nothing more to say on the subject.
Some of us may have reported a suspicion to eBay, but whether they have pursued or not is something they don't make public.
We all might think there is something shonky about this auction but on the surface it appears to be just another eBay auction and there's seems to be nothing that's in direct violation of eBay rules within the auction itself.
Why do you think any particular eBayer has any more clout than another in drawing attention to a potentially dubious auction than another? And as it stands, it's a small number of people here who have responded to Sean's initial flag raising on it.
I think I'd be very concerned that one eBayer could simply get action taken where others couldn't in regard to a matter like this.
Worth remembering that movie posters is just a small part of the overall eBay juggernaut. It just happens to be the one we are all interested in. I'm sure there are dozens of such flags raised in the various other areas of trade on eBay every day.
I see another very experienced lobby card collector has also bid.
