certainly a GREAT testimonial to your high-end auctions.......
i hope you reported him to ebay. yesterday ebay bounced the
scammer of the COCONAUTS lobby cards. i had written to ebay, but
they responed 2 days later saying that they saw no violation, but i suppose the
original owner of the cards contacted ebay to get him off. i purposefully
placed a small bid to see how ebay handles it with bidders. ebay
merely said he was suspended, auction canceled, and i should not deal with
him. why didn't they say more? they could have at least said,
"images were not of the item being sold" especially since that seller explicitly
said that they were in his description.
as to this current person......if they are your images, YOU are the
person to stop him. i noticed that the REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE poster has a
big smudge on the bottom. was that your image?
parenthetically, 2 of my favorite half sheets were from your auction 2
years ago, grey----1934 IMITATION OF LIFE. i love them both and they are
framed prominently in my house. no one can ever steal these from me and
sell them because each have small india ink marks in the borders. so, they
are like fingerprints, that will be forever on your website.
