This has all the markings of a classic scam...if a seller decides to give up the biz, they establish fine feedback over time and then go out with one big sale of items they don't have...they collect the money and disappear off of Ebay. Plus, since the seller is in Brazil not only will he be difficult to find, but there will be all sorts of excuses about how long items take to ship from there, which will give him about a month's head start. The scam is so obvious to me given all the incredible things he is listing, that I'm surprised that Ebay hasn't put it together.
A similar thing happened to me a few years ago. I bought a TIFFANY'S 1-sheet off of a guy for $3,000 and he was selling a bunch of other non-poster stuff. He had perfect feedback and used his real name. Well, his scheme was to auction off about $13,000 worth of material he didn't have so all those auctions ending at that time scammed the buyers and he got out of town. I just chocked it up to the cost of doing business, but the others he ripped off contacted the police and Postal service, and the guy actually was arrested and now is paying me restitution through the court every 4 months or so...he was a moron to use his real name certainly.... --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > The list looks too good to be true.
