It has finally happened.... the site upgrade has been finished & I
invite all of you to enter "my area" and see all the new changes that
we have implemented to help you view & administer your auctions.
Also, take a look at any auction & see how the auction pages have
also been made to more easily see what you need to.
This was a major upgrade, and very many advances were added top make
it easier for buyers and sellers.
Also, STORES have been added. The cost of a storefront is $3.00 per
month and as usual there are no listing fees! Add as many items as
you want to the site & in your storefront & don't pay a penny to list
your auctions.. This is a incredible advantage for those who wish to
list 1000's of items and be able to have them sorted in your
storefront so collectors can see just the section they want to look through.
By the way, we will now be working on A) a bid sniper & B) an offline
bulk listing tool. But did you know that you can currently upload a
CSV file with your auctions? That's right.... Log in to your area,
and you will see the link right there with all your other
navigational links. Upload your entire stock from your Access
database.. after all.. it is FREE TO LIST
As of the new upgrade we have changed one thing.. We have instituted
a 2% selling fee for items that you will sell as of today. It's a low
fee & considering that you have no other listing fees, I hope you
don't feel we're over charging you .. :-)
Also, I have noticed that many buyers & sellers on MPB forget to
leave feedback for buyers & sellers.. Please leave feedback for your
MPB Partners. The feedback system is the way that members see how you
are doing as a fellow member, and most especially during this growing
time when many members have low or no feedback, it is especially
important to them. We also plan on making it easier to leave feedback
in the next site upgrade.
So what is the next MOST IMPORTANT thing for MPB to have
now???? YOUR AUCTION LISTINGS !!!
We need as many sellers as possible to to list their items now. Don't
forget the more items that are listed.. and the more NEW AUCTION
LISTINGS YOU PUT UP EACH WEEK... are what will bring more customers
to the site looking for posters. This has been the most important
thing all along and unfortunately during most of June, due to reasons
I cited in my posts the last week or so, I had been unable to set up
new auctions myself. But we have an upcoming MAJOR EVENT on July 30th
that has been getting advertised for the past 2 months in every
publication for movie collectors as well as flyers that have been
getting distributed at conventions & through other outlets since the
middle of may. Anyone who can distribute more flyers, please email me
now & I will send you a small box of 200-500 flyers that you can give
out or send out with your auctions from ebay. I will be happy to send
flyers anywhere in the world
