Thanks for the link, Rudi... after Freeman's endorsement I wanted to read this 
one myself. But, gee whiz, Batman, I don't see why they would have pulled your 
rant from the old website: The only thing it criticizes are those of pitiful 
nerds among us who feel the Major Auction Houses are not holy shrines nor above 
constructive criticism from their customers -- and perhaps illogically feel 
since they are pulling in 20% to 30% commission these big-buck items that 
perhaps they should do their homework and get the descriptions right, deadline 
or no deadline? Who sets their deadline, anyway? I thought they did? But I 
digress... because aside from the pot shots at the people who spend their money 
at these Major Auction Houses and keep them in Mercedes, the rest of your 
column was a simply a ringing cheerleader endorsement for the upcoming 
sacraments... I mean floor auctions. What's for the new owners of The Nostalgia 
Factory not to like?
