Michael,
OK, now you really *are* being obsessive -- if you
didn't get that I'm with you on this and that my post was a joke, poking a
little fun a Big Name in our community who made similar comments a few
weeks ago, but intended them seriously.
The only thing is, if you're going to complain in public
(which you must admit you've done doing a lot of lately, even if it does appear
to be justified), then don't screw around -- name names. I have no interest in
hearing what an unnamed seller has or has not done. If you don't want to name
names, then you should probably keep these issues private, because it seems too
much like hearsay and some people are likely to accuse you of just making stuff
up or at least engaging in excessive exaggeration.
But as you know, I applaud your stand on refusing to be a
passive victim of these seller atrocities. But don't let it deprive you of your
sense of humor.

someone who didn't disclose a major, major chunk repainted in the top
cross-center fold? someone who told me on the phone after i received the
poster that he did not have the poster in his possession when he wrote the
ebay description and that he did not have the poster in his possession when he
answered my email about the condition.
yes, jr...... i am being too critical when i only expect to receive
that which is advertised. and, yes jr, i am being too critical when
i expect a poster in a condition described in a private email that i received
prior to bidding.
.............now jr, if you are so defensive of this unscrupulous seller
without knowing his name, imagine your reaction if i announced who he
is.....
those like you who say to turn the other cheek, have never been
slapped.
(i will NEVER acquiesce to scam descriptions. sometimes, i just won't
announce the name of the seller or give bad feedback.)
