Honestly, I'm slightly surprised anyone books directly with airlines or hotels anymore. No amount or traveling seems to earn customer respect today.
Recently I booked a flight and motel through Expedia. My experience was HORRIBLE.
Horrible.
I wrote Expedia a strongly worded letter about it all. They REFUNDED my trip, and gave me a $100 coupon for use through their network,
To me, that's quality customer service above and beyond.
