Hi JR, Wasn’t me, it was Michael B. I just
gave him some advice on how to get rid of the negative. Knock on wood I am
still at 100% on approaching 2000 total feedback. I did get my first and only
negative retracted with some work about a year ago. eBay has some ways
now to get rid of negatives from new members, but you need to act fast. Brek From: JR
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Brek, *sigh*... condolences and welcome to the club. I remember how betrayed
and hurt I felt the day I got my first (and only) negative... from a guy who
had actually bought from me before and left positive feedback. But then he
won a $200 pulp in a hot bidding war and apparently he had got carried
away and didn't really have the money to pay for it... but instead of fessing
up to me and letting me cancel the sale and offer it to someone else, he kept
jerking me around for almost 8 weeks... telling me "he forgot to
mail the payment..." then "the check is in the mail..."
etc., etc., until I finally gave up and relisted the item and sold it to
someone else. When he saw me do that, he left me a blistering negative...
claiming that I had taken his money and never sent him the item, if you can
believe it! Oh, yes...I guess I should also offer my apologies for
disturbing the delicate sensibilities of any reader who may have
been shocked and appalled just now at my use of the "J" word above.

first bad feedback If a new ebayer has less than 10 feedback
you are supposed to be able to get it removed if you request (if ebay
implemented what they said they would at ebay live). If that id becomes
restricted or unregistered then the negative will be automatically removed
because their feedback is less than 10. Contact ebay and you should get an
answer in a couple of weeks. It is worth the fight to keep a clean record. Be
sure to write the follow-up to the negative even if just “as described,
flat stated shipping, no contact”. Cheers, Brek From: MoPo List

Behalf Of Michael B most of you have been there.............. my first neg
feedback. i was the seller. buyer had joined ebay 2 days earlier, hence,
ZERO feedback. i truly suspect this was retaliation by someone........... why
would anyone join ebay just to buy a cheap insert of STOP YOU'RE KILLING ME
that I described in lesser condition? this ebayer
hasn't bid on anything else, and will likely become UNREGISTERED. yet,
i will have those red dots forever. he now has a NEGATIVE ONE (-1)
FEEDBACK. he praised me 2/3 weeks ago, yet left bad today. he complained at
feedback time for the first time that my 7.75 postage was too much. the
shipping was stated in the description boldly. what he didnt say
was: he didnt respond to initial emails, paid late, and I mailed the
poster in advance as a gamble. (it saved me a trip to the post office for
his single, cheap item, since all other winners had paid using paypal
immed.) normally, i wouldve sent it Priority, but since I had not
yet been paid, i mailed it First Class. In fact, I think the poster
arrived a day before the check actually arrived to me. the recognized stupidity of the ebay feedback system. my ebay account: dialmbbmbb michael Check out AOL.com today.
