** Contact me PRIVATELY if you're interested in the following. I'll try to reply when I have more time tomorrow.
** They don't involve overlaying your name or anything which obscures or distracts any portion of your images. (Which, BTW, is still the best way to protect image theft.)
** Savvy users will still find an EZ workaround. I'm just trying to make it NOT AS EASY for people to steal, especially people who ONLY know the "right click" method of storing images, OR those who just roll their mouse over an image to have the Windows image tool bar pop up, enabling them to click the "save" icon.** Anyone who wants to steal a STILL image (vs. streaming video) can still do it. Even sellers using Shockwave flash media aren't immune to theft.
** One obvious tip -- never use eBay's picture services. After a sale, those images are up for 90 days or more for people to steal. The JAVA code I use CANNOT be imbedded in eBay's picture services. Hence always use an image hosting service which you can better control.
** As I said, if you want the code, contact me privately and I'll try to get back to everyone after I find it. If I get more than 30 replies (I doubt it), I'll find a way to post it to the entire group). I don't know, some of this code can wreak havoc on some list servers.
