One has to wonder: Just where does the IAU (International Astronomer's Union?) get the authority to go around making proclamations on stuff like this? Why should anyone pay any attention to their edict about Pluto? It's grandfathered in as a "planet", whether they decide to change the definition of a planet going forward or not doesn't change that. This is the kind of thing that gets people pissed at science and scientists... the arrogance.
