<b><span style="background-color: #FFFF00">I want to make sure all MoPo members are aware of the 934 movie
posters from 23 different countries that I have on eBay closing Tuesday night
(8/29).</span></b> What is included in this weeks items? We are selling <b>FOLDED</b> non-U.S. movie posters (including<b> LOTS</b> of cool posters from Spain, Mexico, Australia,
both one-sheets and daybills, the United Kingdom, Germany, and lots of other
countries)! On a week like this we sell those non-U.S. posters that are normally
found only folded, and are normally stored fully folded by many collectors (we
will sell non-U.S. posters that are either found unfolded or are often stored
unfolded, like Japanese and Polish in a different week somewhere down the line). Why do we sell these separately? By selling <b>ONLY</b> those that are fully folded, we
can send all of these posters in our regular mailers, which makes packing and
shipping far easier. On the weeks we sell only the folded (or formerly folded
posters) we can send all of <b>THOSE</b> posters in our regular tubes, which makes packing and shipping them far easier as well. Note that we normally <b>DON'T</b> sell folded British Quad posters in these <i>&quot;folded non-U.S.&quot; weeks</i>, because folded Quads are slightly larger than most other folded posters, and <b>DON'T</b> fit in our standard mailers, so we normally don't sell them in these weeks, but <b>THIS</b> week
we <b>ARE</b> selling a large number of British Quads, because we were given a
collection of Quads to sell where every Quad had been folded an extra time, and since <b>THOSE</b> Quads <b>DO </b>fit in our mailers, we are selling those this week as well.<br>
<br>
You'll find lots of cool and unusual non-U.S. posters, among our current 934 up
for auction this week. Of particular interest to many collectors is that <b>
<span style="background-color: #FFFF00">over TWENTY FIVE PER CENT of the posters are rare &quot;country of origin&quot; posters</span></b>, meaning they are from the very country in which that movie was made (just about <b>EVERY</b> collector prefers a &quot;country of origin&quot; poster, if it can be located)! Included among these are a collection of ten<b> Ingmar Bergman</b> Swedish posters (we
put those at the very start of our listings), plus 14 British Quads and two
English one-sheets from entries of the classic<b> &quot;Carry On&quot; </b>series of English sex comedies, plus<b> LOTS</b> more &quot;country of origin&quot; posters! And many of the posters that are<b> NOT</b> &quot;country of origin&quot; have striking graphics, often completely
different from that of the corresponding U.S. posters.<br>
<br>
But even though many of these non-U.S. posters are really cool and rarely seen, each starts at just 99 cents, with <b>NO RESERVE</b> on any item! Here is a chart of
this week's items (along with our item numbers, to make it easier for you to
find what interests you):<br>

<b><span style="background-color: #FFFF00">Be sure to check out these 934 movie posters from 23 different countries sometime before they end Tuesday night, August 15th, starting at around 7 PM CST

me by my eBay user ID, emovieposter.com). </span></b> <br>
<br>
<b>What are some of this week's best titles?</b> There are far too many to list them all here, but here are just a very few (all are from the very first release of the movie in that country!): <b>THE WARRIORS </b>English 1sheet (completely different design), <b>RUMBA</b> <b>CALIENTE</b> Mexican poster, <b>AU PAYS DES LIONS</b> (a French 30x40 poster from 1912 with
great stone litho art), <b>ZIEGFELD GIRL</b> (late 1940s first Italian release
one-sheet), <b>THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR</b> German, <b>CONFESSIONS OF A NYMPHOMANIAC</b> British Quad (wild image!), 8 1/2 Spanish poster, <b>WEEK END</b> French 23x31,
<b>DR
TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS</b> English 1sheet, <b>THE QUIET MAN</b> Danish poster,
<b>THE DIARY
OF A LOST GIRL</b> 1929 German program, and on and on and on!<br>
<br>
<b>A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT OUR CONDITION GRADING THIS WEEK:</b> Because we are selling
nearly 1,000 items from 23 different countries (of all different sizes), we
could not take as much time as we would have liked to condition grade these
items. <b>THIS WEEK ONLY</b>, we only gave two condition grades to our items, either &quot;very good or better&quot;, or &quot;lesser&quot;, which means we basically are just saying &quot;this item is in very good condition or <b>BETTER</b>&quot;, or we are saying &quot;this item is in less than very good condition&quot;, and we are leaving it on you, the bidder, to determine whether it is in <b>BETTER</b> than very good condition, or how much less
than very good condition it is by looking at our super-sized images.
<b><span style="background-color: #FFFF00">Fortunately, our images ARE really sharp, and you really CAN get a good idea of each item's condition from those images.</span></b> But, because we did less condition
grading than usual, and because we rarely describe item's defects in words,
there <b>IS </b>an added element of &quot;guess work&quot; this week in knowing the condition of an item you are bidding on, so please do not bid on items unless you can accept
the slight uncertainty as to its exact condition, and the nature of its exact
defects. There <b>ARE</b> lots of rare and unusual items this week, and, while around half of them are in &quot;lesser&quot; condition, many are ones you may well not see for
years, and many of the lesser posters have really interesting images! Many of
these non-U.S. posters have completely different images from that of the U.S.
posters from the same titles, and all of these 934 posters are well worth
reviewing!<br>
<br>
<b>EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE LOTS OF GREAT POSTERS THIS WEEK</b>, every single one of these items started at just 99 cents with no reserve so there will be surely many real
bargains and quite likely some outright steals!
<span style="background-color: #FFFF00">As of this writing (Saturday
night), over 425 of these 934 items are still at their starting price of 99
cents(!), around 600 are still under $5, around 725 are under $10, and around
850 are under $20! And most of the 75 or so items that are over $20 are FAR
under their regular retail price (the ones you could find anywhere else). And
there are a HUGE percentage of items that would retail for $25 or $50 or much
more on every dealers' websites which are still at just a dollar or two each!</span><br>
<br>
Obviously, many of these items will get one or more additional bids, but given
the very large number of such items I am selling, it is a virtually certainty
that a fair number will fall between the cracks and go for low prices (and some
for joke prices!). But YOU can't get those great deals if you aren't bidding!
<b>AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!</b> If you place a bunch of fairly low bids but only
get one or two items, then you are sure to be happy, for you will have gotten
some really good deals, and paid a very reasonable shipping cost (we only charge a sliding $5.50 to $10 for U.S. customers, depending on how much you spend, <b>NOT</b>
how many items you buy, and outside the U.S. we charge the actual cost of
getting the items to you, plus $2 for packaging materials, and since all these
items are folded, shipping outside the U.S. should be pretty reasonable, even if
you get a lot of items). Even if get nothing at all, you will only be out a
little of your time, and no more (since this is one substantial auction of high
quality rare movie posters you don't need to travel to, or even leave your
computer for!).<br>
<br>
<b><span style="background-color: #FFFF00">REMEMBER THAT IN THESE AUCTIONS (as in all my online auctions), THERE ARE NO OUTRAGEOUS BUYER PREMIUMS! </span></b>Other auctions charge around 20% <b>EXTRA</b>, for no other
reason than to line their pockets with your money, and <b>some even have a $9
minimum buyer premium</b>, so that a $1 purchase carries a <b>NINE HUNDRED PER CENT buyer premium!</b>. In <b>MY</b> auctions, what you bid is what you pay, plus a
<b>VERY</b>
reasonable shipping charge (especially when you see how great we package
orders!). If you have ever bought from any other major auction company, you are
probably still stunned by their buyer premiums and by how much handling fees
they packed onto their shipping charges, but we never do that!<br>
<br>
I know it can be difficult to look over this many items in just a day, but
remember you can use our exclusive Current Auction Image Gallery (which is
located at <a href="http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php";>http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php</a> ) which has
large thumbnails of all our eBay items, and links from each item to the actual
eBay auction. Best of all, this gallery is searchable! You will really find this
a great benefit if you want to look at all of our items this week! You can
simply browse all of our current items by viewing the images in this gallery (40 to a page, but you can set it to display 20 items to a page or up to 100 items a
page, depending on the speed of your Internet connection) in our number order,
or you can use our search to only see thumbnails of your specific search terms!
<b>NOTE THAT EACH ITEM IN THIS GALLERY HAS A RECENT BID PRICE LISTED, AND THE
PRICES ARE UPDATED AT LEAST ONCE A DAY! THIS GALLERY CAN BE SORTED BY PRICE
(high to low or low to high), WHICH IS A GREAT HELP TO THOSE OF YOU WANTING TO
JUST FOCUS ON THE BEST (or least expensive) ITEMS! I urge all of you to go to
our gallery this week and at least glance over all the large thumbnails, EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE NO INTEREST IN BIDDING ON THESE ITEMS!</b> Why do I say this?
Because it is fun to window shop when you are looking at this well-organized
gallery, especially given all the many wonderful items we are selling this week
(it is likely many of them will have images you have never seen before)!<br>
<br>

even one of them and then once you see how honestly we describe them and how we
charge only a very reasonable shipping cost and how we send them right out
promptly and well-packed, that you will declare your independence from those
auction houses with the outrageous buyers premiums, the over-graded items and
the outrageous shipping! Good luck on whatever you may bid on.<br>
