In defense of Leena Edelman and Poster Restoration Studio in LA. I
think the reason that the prices are more for older materials is because
they have a tendency to be more brittle (acidic) and possibly fall
apart. The newer posters are on a better stock of paper and this would not be a
problem. I am putting all my money into professionally framing the many
posters that Mr. Edelman worked on for me over the many years. Year's
back my poster's price's (linen/restoration) were based individually
according to the need's of the piece. There was no set price. This is why with
this special offer with a specific flat rate there are guidelines compared to
pricing individual pieces.
