I forgot to mention......Philipp is correct, indoor lighting can fade items also. Tungsten, fluorescent, incandescent light can be a fading culprit. The product I use actually has very high filtering agents for that type of lighting also. When you have something framed make sure you are buying a quality product if you are concerned.  However, you don't have to get suckered into overkill products. For instance, the UV filtered plexiglass that I use is 84% UV filtered and even higher filtering properties for indoor light, since most of us are hanging our item indoors. That is the combination I have found works best for almost all lighting situations. 98% and 99% UV filtered plexiglass, to me, is overkill, and very expensive, unless you have a particularly direct sunlit room. 98% and 99% UV filtered plexiglass also typically has a yellow tint to it that is transferred to the item being framed. Some people like it, though, as an insurance factor, but again, if you put your item in direct sunlight, not even 99% UV filtered plexiglass will protect it completely. That's the scoop.

Subject: [MOPO] Movie Posters in UV proctected Plexi

NOW, lets talk about this.....very interesting topic....I also feel the same way...how can we really believe in that.....I do not let any poster have any sun on the image of any art....so...can anyone else tell us that UV plexiglass does protect the poster of UV light....DOES ANYONE KNOW THAT ELECTRIC LIGHT BALLS ALSO has the same impact as UV or sun light ?????  After many year, maybe over 20 years I have never received any answer.....what is really the impact of our framed posters in house or from the "very sun".

Please let me know BECAUSE I am lost.....
