I auctioned a mobile phone about a month ago. A week
ago I emailed a reminder, and after no response filed
a NPBA. Got a response to that along the lines of "my
wife's in hospital for two months, can you wait until
then?".
Did a bit of checking, recent activity both selling
and buying so I say "You are not able to make the
payment on her behalf?".
I never believed the story BTW, not one bit, so when
"he" came back with this: "hi no sorry its in a shared
acc and i need the both of us to sign", I thought of
numerous things to say, but went with this instead:
"She's the only one who uses the ebay account,
correct?" In the hope that they would just tell me the
truth. Two days pass, no response.
This morning I find their car auction has been pulled,
load up My ebay, and lo and behold, NARU!
So, rather than just be honest with me, she makes up
bullshit stories and then de-registers herself. All
over 50 odd dollars!
I still would have negged her, truth or not. If she'd
been honest from day one, it's unlikely I would have,
I never have before.
