I am saddened to hear this. Len, who I believe was Paul Scraeder's
brother, always had a kind word and interesting
conversation.

issue sales catalogs, I would know that he would be one of the

entirely out of love, and not any sense of investment.
He was one of the kindest and most down to earth "celebrities" I
have ever encountered, and we had many long conversations where I
would ask him to educate me about the early directors (information
on them is hard to find anywhere) and he was always happy to talk
about what he loved so much.
In recent years I have been receiving fewer and fewer silent lobby
cards, and so I sold little to Len, but every so often one of my
employees would say to me, "There's a Len Schrader on the phone and
he wonders if you aren't too busy to talk to him". Len was that
kind of guy, and I am sure he will be much missed by many in our
hobby.
