I never though Jack's menace was understated.. more like seething
one of my favorite films.. Shane.. is probably his best role..
Whenever I watch it, I always replay Jack's scenes a few times.
I always loved this part:
Shane (leaning against bar): "so you're Jack Wilson. I've heard about you"
Jack (sitting at table, stands up): "what have you heard Shane"
Shane (moves off of bar & stands upright): "I've heard you're a
lowdown Yankee liar"
Jack: "Prove it"
bang.. bang bang bang.. bang.. Jack falls to the floor.
