Looking at the relative box office of the dancing penguins and sexy secret agent, the one thing that comes to mind is the relative running times. HAPPY FEET clocks in around 90 mins (so what is it - IMDB shows the US having a shorter run time than rest of world), the Bond almost an hour longer at 144 mins.

Anybody got a breakdown of number of sessions/ screens across the US? Of course no one is going to know how many flop flicks in THEIR dogs days had sessions canned so they could loop the prints into other houses for session overflows.

Hollywood math. A world of its own.

Phil

Subject: [MOPO] Question re: Casino Royale

I was with two friends that didn't want to wait for the end of the credits of CASINO ROYALE. On the older Bond releases, there was usually a teaser credit at the end of the film announcing that JAMES BOND WILL BE BACK and announcing the name of the upcoming project. I was wondering if anyone in MOPO knows if CASINO ROYALE had such a credit at the end.

Thanks, Channing Thomson in San Francisco
