Andrea (and this is for Rich, Henry but not Sean)

Please read what I wrote. Did I ask you to give it away? All I said is I
don't chase reserves. I also said that once a reserve is hit, I may bid. I
don't like my time wasted.

There is also a second reason and before I give it, I want to thank Sean for
also clarifying my point.

The second is that there are scoundrels on ebay who place a reserve on a
poster which can never be attained and they do it to see how high the bids will
go. If high enough they will then try to sell it to the highest bidder for
even
more than the high bid and avoid fees. I will not aid them by bidding when
there is an unknown reserve.

I will repeat-----------------reserves are a waste of time. I do not want
anyone to give a poster away. Just let me know that it can be won. There is
also the ebay nonsense of a price plus Best Offer. I will never make an offer
either. (I await insults from those who use this tactic to elicit high offers
without having to actually sell the poster.)

The last statement is simplicity. Kindly read what is written and not take
it personally.

Claude
