>Sean.. you are incorrect with this statement:
>Claude did not make any sort of statement about the reserves being high
>or low.
>he did indeed make such an accusation. This is his comment:
>"The posters on movieposterbid are either overpriced... "
>that is indeed a flat statement that the reserves are too high. a statement
>that can have no education >as Claude does not have access to the MPB database
>with this information.

I am afraid you are incorrect sir.
The complete statement was: "The posters on movieposterbid are either
overpriced or for the most part have reserves which are frustrating to bidders"

He did not say that the reserves are too high, merely that the posters with
reserves are frustrating to bidders.

>I believe that the reserves at Heritage only appear on the final day of
>bidding or a couple days before >and have a disclaimer:
>"Reserve (If Any) Will Post on <date goes here>"
>that disclaimer appears on all Heritage lots, not just reserved items
>so you could be bidding on an item and until just before final bidding, you
>don't know if it is or is not >reserved.

You are again incorrect sir.
The Heritage reserves appear well before the final day or a couple of days
before and lots that have no reserve have the notation "no reserve".
(though yes if you want to bid a month ahead of time for some unknown reason
you will have no idea what the reserve is, but at least you have the estimate
to guide you).
If MPB is planning on introducing a feature that will reveal reserves the last
few days of the auction that is great - congratulations.

Sean
