What is included in this weeks items? There really are many great titles including The Adventures of Robin Hood (the 1938 original, with a great image!), A Day at the Races (mini window card, with great Hirschfeld art!), Cat People (1942 version), He Who Gets Slapped (Lon Chaney Sr.), Gone With the Wind (1941 artwork!), Yankee Doodle Dandy, The Philadelphia Story, Ocean's 11,This Island Earth, It Came From Outer Space (3-D!), Abbott & Costello Meet the Killer Boris Karloff, An American In Paris, Bullitt, You Only Live Twice, a great collection of 13 Alfred Hitchcock window cards including Psycho, North By Northwest, To Catch a Thief, and Vertigo, and much, MUCH, more! Personally, I have always really liked window cards, for several reasons. They are often printed on a better quality paper than one-sheets, and they usually do not have the distracting foldlines. They are a much more "frame-able" size than one-sheets (they certainly fit in lots more places on the wall!), and personally, I really like window cards that have theater information neatly printed at the top, because then they have a specific "history" to them that I really like. I think that once you look over this week's selection, you will quickly see that it really IS an amazing selection of window cards! This auction contains a LOT of really cool items, and unlike many other auctions, there is no "For Millionaires Only" sign at the entrance, and NO reserves, NO outrageous "buyers premiums", NO excessive shipping, and NO fuzzy or misleading images! Note that as of Sunday morning (with just a couple of days to go!), there are still 42 of these 798 items that are still at their starting price of just 99 cents each, 69 are still under $5, 118 are still under $10, and 162 are under $20! And most of the 90 items that are over $20 each are are WAY under their "regular prices" (the ones you could find anywhere else)!
