Howdy y'all, 1. If package is delivered and confirmed, your liability ends, according to USPS regs. The buyer, however, may counter with the tale of "but I never got it". If that scenario surfaces, signature confirmation is always best.
Now ... filing an insurance claim is an adventure unto itself. If the USPS determines (in their infinite? wisdom) that the package is woefully packaged, i.e., placing a cast iron dumbell with a fragile, glass epergne in same package with no pading, USPS will poo-poo the claim. 2.
