This Weeks Film Releases ....
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles nearly jumped out
of their shells and stormed the box office this week, knocking off last weeks #
1 winner, "300" with a $25.4 million weekend take.
This marks the TMNT's return to the big screen after
almost 15 years.
"300", the previous # 1 came in #2 with $20.5
million bringing it's three week total to $160 million.
The # 3 this week is Paramount's "Shooter" with
Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg. Critics have generally panned this film directed by
Traning Day director Antoine Fuqua
"Ghost Rider", the comic book adaptation that
torched the box office 3 weeks ago with $44 million dropped off the Top Ten
list completely and is certain to disappear from the silver screen before very
long and probably will hit stores in DVD before you can light a match on
fire.

Anna Nicole Smith 's Autopsy Results
The Results for Anna Nicole, who died in the Bahamas on February 8th concluded
that she died of a combination of prescription medicines including Chloral
Hydrate and Methadone as well as an infection from an abess on her buttocks
most likely caused by a dirty needle used to inject human growth hormone
Lawsuits & court dates will be fought for some
time as Anna's estranged mother Virgie Arthur and Anna's partner & attorney
Howard K. Stern as well as a slew of other celebs including Zsa Zsa Gabor's
husband Frédéric von Anhalt continue to fight over her infant
daughter Danielynn and also where Anna Nicole's remains will be buried will
likely last for years to come. |

Brittany Spears Checks Out
That
whacked out singer checked out of rehab last week and headed home
After seperating from husband Kevin Federline, the
pantyless celeb shaved her head and had a violent run in with a paparazzi's
suv.
Reports were that the suv, which had about 5000 pounds
on the popular songstress, won by a T.K.O. in the first round of the match.
Brittany is now reportedly in training for a rematch later this year.
The SUV has a restraining order against Brittany, but
all parties hope to sign for a twelve rounder near Christmas time.
The unfortunate umbrella however received a broken
neck and is now unable to walk. Lawsuits by the umbrella's family are
pending |

Stuart Rosenberg, Director of Cool Hand
Luke
Passed away on March 15th began as a film editor for TV shows
during the 1950's. His directing career began with the TV Show "Decoy" with
Beverly Garland. He later moved on to feature films with Murder Inc in
1960.
Other directoral credits in the TV shows the
Untouchables, Ben Casey, Twighlight Zone and features Cool hand Luke (1967),
the Drowning Pool (1975), and Brubaker (1980)
He also won an Emmy in 1961 for the TV show, the
Defenders. Rosenberg was 79 years old |

Charles "Chuck" Harrelson dies in Prison
Chuck Harrelson, best known as the father of actor
Woody Harrelson has died in the Supermax Prison in Colorado of heart failure.
Harrelson, who was in prison for the murder of a
Federal Judge in 1979 was sentenced in 1983 to death, but was later commuted to
life in prison. He also served jail time for the murder of a federal witness in
the early 70's
Harrelson, who was a well known hitman in some circles
in Texas was also suspected as a co-conspirator in the JFK assassination.
Conspiracy theorists believe that Harrelson was one of the three hoboes taken
in for questioning the day of the assassination. Woody Harrelson had been
actively seeking to have his father's conviction overturned for many years.
