Heritage's March Vintage Movie Poster Auction sold just over $2 million dollars
in this weekend event! This exceeds the previous record of $1,559,000 set by
Heritage in November 2006, by a wide margin. After auction sales are still
ongoing, and are expected to push the final total to even higher levels.
There were 1086 bidders vying for the 1133 lots, with 319 successful bidders.
There has never been a $2 million dollar auction of movie posters only and we
believe this bodes well for this wonderful hobby.
