Bruce, Congrats. I have used and autograph selling site called R and R Auctions. They have a 10 minute rule (a form of popcorn bidding). After the stated auction end time the entire auction remains open as long as there is a bid on any item within 10 minutes of the last bid. Sometimes it stays open for several hours after the end time. The catch is that after the auction end time and the 10 minute rule begins you may only bid on an item you had bid on during the regular auction. This works great for getting the best prices for the sellers as well as giving buyers an opportunity to get items they really want without getting edged out the last second. Any item that had an opening start price that was not opened can be purchased at the opening price after the 10 minute rule starts. This type of auction is very fair to sellers and buyers and a format you may want check out. Good luck and I will look forward to submitting items for your new format as well as bidding.
