I've had a few posters backed.  Mostly those that I know that I plan on keeping till the day I die.  Perfect example.. I picked up a "NOTLD" orig with some major water stainage on the side that blead into the image for under $130.  I had a restorer fix it up and now it looks splendid.  I don't plan on selling it so I figure restoring a poster for personal gratification is good on my end, but if I plan on selling a poster then I'll leave it as is and let the buyer do what they want with it.
