Just thought I'd stir the pot a little ;)

I know we don't compete with Bruce or Heritage on a large scale with their
auctions, but usually we can get pretty amazing auction results for our
consignees!

Here is just one recent example: One of our clients bought this _TARANTULA_
(http://movieposters.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=640&Lot_No=28906#Photo
#) one sheet from Heritage in their Nov. 14, 2006 major highly publicized
auction.

He paid $1600.00 plus a 19.5% buyers premium for a total of $1912.00. After
Heritage's seller consignment fee, their client (the seller) walked away with
about $1360.00 (assuming Heritage's seller consignment fee was 15%).

Just a few months later our client (the buyer who paid $1912.00) sent it to
us and asked us to sell it for him because he needed some quick cash. We sold
it April 9, 2007 on ebay in a NO RESERVE auction _#180100966056_
(http://cinemasterpieces.com/tarantula.htm) for $2550.75.

After our consignment fee our client walked away with $1910.83.

Remember.....this is the EXACT same poster!!

No, we don't claim to do this every time, and no, we never make a guarantee
that results will always be as spectacular as this.

I occasionally buy from Bruce and Heritage, sometimes picking up quite a
bargain, sometimes paying a fair price. I always buy though with the intent to
sell it for A LOT more on my website.

On like items, our auction results are pretty much on par with Bruce and
Heritage, many times surpassing them. Our fees may be a teenie bit more, but
hey, we are worth it!

WHAT WE OFFER THAT THE OTHERS DON'T: THE ABILITY TO GET THE MOST AMOUNT
POSSIBLE....HIGHER THAN ANY AUCTION!!!

ON SITE CONSIGNMENT!!

If you are willing to wait awhile, on site consignment is the way to go.

Consignments on our website (and through our new EBAY STORE) have grown
tremendously this year because collectors (and other dealers!) have realized
that
we can get MUCH MORE for their items than if they were auctioned.

How are we able to get much higher prices than major auction houses?

There are two types of buyers of vintage movie posters:
1. Dealers/Collectors
2. Non Collectors.

We sell to BOTH!
Auction houses sell almost exclusively to just Dealers/Collectors.

A Non Collector buys just one or a few posters for a home theater, a gift,
or whatever. At least 50% of our sales are to Non Collectors. Often times
they will pay MUCH more for a poster than a regular Collector will. The people
that buy from auction houses ARE PRIMARILY OTHER DEALERS AND LONG TIME
COLLECTORS. They are "looking for a bargain" at these auctions and are
primarily
interested in getting something at a great price so they can resell it.

We buy posters at these auctions all the time, and then we re sell them for
much more either on our website or in our own ebay auctions.

We just sold a Casablanca U.S. one sheet for a world record price. No, I'm
not going to give details so please don't ask.

ok.....I'm done stirring.
