I was just traveling in the Boston area and borrowed a verizon wireless card
for my laptop. I has high speed internet using the cell network. Just plugged
in the card, installed the software, and anywhere I was, I had high speed!
Now, this is not really high speed (more like low speed DSL), but it was very
cool. I have no idea what this costs, however if you have cell coverage in
your area, this might be a good option for you.

Hi:

I should preface this by pointing out I live in the boonies with no access to high-speed (though that is soon to change).

Anyhoo, for us dial-up types (and I know we're an endangered species and, no, I do not own a rotary telephone): Could list members please resist the temptation to attach large and/or numerous image files to their emails?

Someone trying to trade posters did so and tied up my computer for about 15 minutes while the files downloaded. That is, until I got fed up and went to my webmail account and just deleted the offending message there.

So you may have great stuff to trade, but I'll never know because I nuked your email with all its pics.

It makes more sense to post the images online and include links to the pics in your email.

Thank you.

That is all,
Dave
