Hi all...
I am personally looking forward to Cinevent 39 because then I get to see many
of you all again! It is a busy time there for the Everetts and family, but a
lot of the pure pleasure for me will be in seeing again all the friends I have
made through Morris and the movie poster world over these last 17 or so
years. (Yes! That long!)
If you are reading this and are wondering who in the world I am and what in the
world I am talking about...come to Cinevent in Columbus...come on up to the
auction floor, and say, "Where's Diana?" Then we can meet and my husband
Morris will gladly "talk posters" with you until you just can't take it
anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The family will be there again. Wait until you see how cute our little
granddaughter is, and, guess what? #2 will be joining her in September. By the
time of Cinevent, we will even know if it is going to be a boy or a girl!!
Daughter Alice, married in October, and husband Tony will be there too. And of
course newlywed Morris III will fly in from California.
Morris III got married in Vegas Easter weekend and oh, wow was it a blast. No,
he did NOT get married in a chapel by Elvis. This was the real thing, and it
was spectacular. It was outdoors, beside a beautiful lake under an arbor of
lovely flowers...very romantic. Bride Jenni looked like a dream, the groom wore
a custom made suit fit to kill, and the music was out of sight. Did you know
that Morris III has a band called "Li'l Mo and the Dynaflos?" They performed
to an enthusiastic crowd of fans. I will bring he DVD and if any of you want
to catch a bit of the performance just ask me to pop it into my computer for
you. The wedding was followed by all kinds of revelry at the Viva Las Vegas
2007 rockabilly convention. We had so much fun that we are going back next year.
I won $78 at nickel slots at the Rio, so right about now I am feeling pretty
lucky about that, too!!!!!!
