Here's a question for you guys -
At what price threshold would you elect to not have insurance for
International shipping?
Either as buyer or seller - or should that make a difference?
Would you not insure anything under $25 - $50 - $100?
Does insurance elicit any better handling? Tracking?

Thankfully, Australian airmail postage is still reasonable. I can
still manage to charge US$9.00 (although I lose out sometimes) to send
a poster anywhere in the world but I have no doubts that rates will
rise here in the future. The weak US dollar does not help.
I think an increase in postage will most definitely affect sales. Its
a little ironic that buyers now rate sellers on their shipping
charges.

Don't know all the details of the new rates, but according to someone
I was in touch with today, a folded 1-sheet can still be shipped to
Canada for about $8. According to him, though, that's Parcel Post
First Class, which is supposed to take about two weeks. And, of
course, also uninsured.
