Rick, he worked for Cinerama releasing corp. people have gladly been paying much higher than normal prices for these, because as you yourself have stated....you just can't find these titles rolled!! only about 10 to 15% of them have the nss stamp on the back. I have no explanation as to why some do and why some don't, and neither does he.
I have no doubt that every one of them is authentic. Think of the alternative.......do you think this guy printed thousands of posters (95% of them mostly obscure titles that NO ONE wants) and then tried to pass them off as originals? if you'd ever like to come to Scottsdale I'll gladly show you stacks and stacks of these zero value rolled ones from '68 to '72 that frankly, I just don't know what to do with. They are not worth auctioning because they'd only sell for a few dollars each. did you miss the auctions I ran on ebay about 6 months to a year ago? there were probably 400 or so that I did auction at no reserve, all different titles....some obscure ones, and a few really good ones that sold for A LOT!! I know several mopo members bought a bunch.
