MOPO'ERS The reissue for THE HUSTLER runs twice to three times the original SUSPICION the paper from this re-release has tripled in price from just two years ago. Infinitely better art work Heritage Auctions has really ushered in the irrefutable success on this paper One Eyed Jacks.......on a much smaller lever the original onesheet is in dull sepia and the re-release with exact same art is in color. So instead of a $50 poster its a $100 poster. Casablanca now I am referencing Italian paper here but the 1960's paper still can choke most people's budgets with photobustas commanding over a 1000 and the two or four foglios commanding over 5 grand which considering how recent is mind boggling but admittedly beautiful paper. The Wizard of Oz re-issue was an interesting campaign by MGM capitalizing on Garland's popularity as an adult singer and entertainer just a decade or so later. Inserting her image at the time of the re-issue was to attract those new fans of hers to see her in an older film. Remember, WIZARD OF OZ in its original release was a disappointment at the boxoffice.
