I have not had that much luck either. You will not loose as much as opening up your own shop. I have several framed and several displayed in sleeves with acid free backing to prevent damage in a Salt Lake mall. Then I have a price book for the lesser value posters I have in plastic tubs (about 1000 titles) they have to request from the manager. So theft has not yet been a problem. I am in a non poster collecting State, so it is a tough sell, but so are antiques and other collectables. The younger generation is not that interested in collecting. I don't get that many movie poster sales, but lots of comments on how cool they look. On the rare occasion a $500 or $600 poster sells it is to someone outside the State that knows posters. I take posters to antique shows as well. In fact I am doing a Western show in Cody, Wyoming that is coupled with an auction. We'll see what happens up there. I have lots of western items as well as quite a few western posters. But I agree with Rich. You aren't going to make much, if any money let alone a living. It does help in a small way to promote the hobby. It also can be a good source for purchasing. Cheers, Brek
