after 30 years in this memorabilia i, selling off the cream of my
personal stuff as ill be moving again soon.
For last year ive lived in a new luxery apartment next to a pond
inPerrysburg Ohio and its been great rest from stress, I have geee in
the pond a fountain,,s and nice view. but its 900 a month and im a
single guy,-ouch! ( in Cal this would buy a small paper box:)
however lease is up and I think ill move. Ive considered California and
Sandusky OHIO. The are there is
a tourist area on the Lake Erie and has theme parks like cedar point. I
like the area and its more affordable
than California Also moperes may be happy to know that Tommy is a
cameraman videographer with the local sports channel cable network so
hes been getting experiance and they pay him like 20-25 a hour not bad
for 20 year old.. thanks again to Mopers who gave my son support,
advise, and encouragement to pursue his dreams,
Ok so what do i have left,, ok Movie magazines,, 1000 60s-70s 1 sheets
or more. Tons of reprodustions and unused theatrical 1-sheets, some
lobby cards maybe 100=200 about 300-400 inserts 1000-2000 stills some
GREAT books on studios and technical Projection and industry inside. ,
autographs, some original Hurrell stills some are up by CS BULL.
film camera , projectors, and variuos toys and other movie related stuff
includeing magic lanterns dateinfrom 1879 ON
I also have some personal camera gear like a f-3 Nikon with motordrive
and killer lens array a Bogen seemless
crank down backround 12 foot withh 3 colors, a minolta flashIV ( the
best flash meter) a set of strobes - novotron 550 wattsecond with
diffusin 4 heads stands umbrellas and halo diffusion and case - 2000
light kit! when new,,!
a f-2 nikon 35 black with array of lens, olympus om1 35mm and a Pentaxx
me super 35mm,, my personal cameras,, from years ago when i could see,,:)
i also have 1st like 10 issues of Mad magazine when it was a comic..
and also some large lots of comics like disney and abour 200-300 unused
famous monsters from 60s and 70s.
lots of paper rare stuff that i forgot or had mixed in boxed.
I have the Birth of a nation program from Dw Griffith.... a mgm advance
mans from39 letters and ads
and sunday funny from 30s... comic sunday like prince valient etc....for
pepol in OHIO or willing to drive I have a poster rack a great 1000 wing
unit from England that Holds 30-4- selections. 1 sheets and you can flip
its loaded with repos at moment
I also have some repo stills like 4 filled binders aof maybe 100 perbook
plus the dupes inside.. so all you need to do is lay out and sell..
also tickest,,, flyers,, damn it takes a while to sell off 30 years of
stuff.
ive been working on this like 10 years it seems..
well thanks everyone on Mopo for allowing me to be part of this
community. ive learned so many things from my
dealer friends and customers,, like I just sold a Hurreel to a man in
La that handles the Pancho Barnes estate that woman was very very
interesting and introduced Hurreell to Ramon Navvarro...who then Told
Norma Shear who told Thalberg ewho hired Hurrell as MGMs main staff
