I saw Earthquake in the 70's and was not terribly impressed with the Sensurround effects. I think you would do just as well to rent the DVD and stand near your clothes dryer during the disaster scenes.

As for the actual movie, you can't really go wrong when you get Ava Gardner, Charlton Heston, and Marjoe Gortner in the same film.
