I am suspicious that this seller re-registered under a new ID of "slyithewiper" (registered 7/23/07) with this auction currently in progress: 130141530779

This seller, ilikeposters76, did the same thing to me on this auction: 190130872014.

But, I never heard from the seller until after I filed my claim with PayPal. With me, he tried to blackmail me into canceling the claim against him by telling me he would neither send the poster nor a refund until I canceled the claim with PayPal. I told him he was in violation and that he was in no position to dictate the terms. I informed him that the only acceptable option was for him to refund my money in full, because at this point I didn't believe that he would have ever sent the poster. Upon receipt of a refund, then and only then would I cancel my claim against him. He told me that he had canceled his PayPal account -- how convenient for him -- and that the only way he could refund my payment was with a money order.

If you look at the description for the 40x60 poster by slyithewiper, it is almost identical in wording for the 40x60 posters that Doug and I bought. Even the photos were taken in the same way, different only by being taken on carpet for this latest 40x60.

What was odd about my transaction is that though the seller is named Glenn Boyd, the payments went to the email address for a Michael Bogdan, so I wonder if there is more than one dealer involved in all of this.

I’d like to thank everyone who offered advice after I purchased the following poster, but never received shipment. I sent a note to this group and, you might recall, I’d paid for the poster and the ebay seller promised shipment, did not ship, went silent and cancelled his ebay registration.

After filing a complaint with paypal and with AMEX (whom I used to pay for the transaction) I was contacted by the seller a few days later. He offered no excuse but did promise to ship the poster and send a tracking number. Sure enough, a few days later I got a tracking number and the poster has arrived. It’s a solid Near Mint with only a few pinholes.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
