seller did nothing wrong. seller probably was surprised that it did not sell, and listed it for 24.99 (to keep his ebay fee at the listing price cut-off point). seller probably would have been disappointed had it actually sold for 24.99 or so, but certainly understood the risk. it is always a risk to start a poster low: it might sell cheaply when there is no bidding wars. I AM SURE THAT OPINIONS WOULD BE ALTERED IF WE SAW LISTING !!!!! the only 2 times i purchased items after the ebay auction ended from strangers (and i did not bid) were negotiated amounts: 1000 and 225. both those posters were from local sellers and we met face to face. my approaches to the sellers were friendly, and politely referenced recent sales of the titles. but i wouldn't negotiate on either side to chisel down a 25.00 posters: that seems so petty. this reminds me of the days of MCW. in those days, you called, and made an offer and injected humor so the harsh emails of counter-offers is not deemed as insulting. ON THE OTHER HAND...............................I have purchased posters on ebay where i was the sole bidder. You always wonder if the seller would have re-listed it cheaper. If you really want it.........buy it unless the prices is too overpriced. But we all have stories similar to this expereince: i once listed a poster for 400. it did not sell. i re-listed it for 375 with a buy-it-now for 575. i did not sell. i re-re-listed it and it sold for BUY IT NOW at 575. TIMING IS EVERY IN LIFE AND ON EBAY. michael
