I recently found at an antique shop an approx. 40 x 80 poster that looks like
it was some type of theater display. Alan Ladd seems to be the star since he
is standing on a box in the center dressed in a suit and there are 5 other
stars standing around him looking up at him. I can recognize Jean Arthur and
Barry Sullivan, but I cannot recognize the others though they are familiar from
old movies. The poster itself looks to have been colorized or it is similar to
a colorized photo. The poster is on heavy stock vintage cardboard. There is
no name or writing on the poster and from the clothing and the age of the
paper, it seems to date from the late 40's to the very early 50's. I couldn't
find a movie that starred at least the three stars that I could Identify. Any
idea as to what it might be from? Could it be an advertisement for stars
working for a particular studio? Thanks, Marc
