ebay's feedack system is flawed in the revenge feedback area. I have always fealt it unfair that foolish sellers or buyers can keep a good ebayer on the ropes. It flaws the whole system so you really never know the total truth about any seller. Sometimes people will forgo any feedback instead of a neg. it is really screwd up ebay knows it and will do noting to prevent it.

Hypothetically musing ... Scenario numero uno ... Let's say you're the seller, a bidder wins the item and then replies that he completely forgot about his pregnant wife that is in the hospital, and triplets are due any minute ... he states that he cannot pay and wants a mulligan for his faux pas. Furthermore, he implies that he will reciprocate if your neg button finger gets twitchy. Researching his feedback, you note 2 other recent negs in the bidder's history for non payment. Now ... as the seller on eBay, you've got a feedback history that is untainted with over 2,000 positive feedbacks, hell ... make it 5,631 postive. Do you issue the cretin a pass to preserve your unblemished record, so you can still maintain a quasi-pseudo 100% positive feedback record ... or ... will you accept the red badge of courage? Watcha gonna do? Scenario numero dos ... flip the roles ... as a buyer you've got 1100+ greenies with nary a red spot. You're the winning bidder and the seller states that the USPS center is too far (15 miles one way) to travel to pick up your money order that you posted certified as payment for item won on eBay. You file a seller non performance thingy with ebay and consider a neg to boot. (BTW ... This scenario did occur to me) Again ... watcha gonna do ... boy? My answers: Scenario #1 ... yes Scenario #2 ... yes allenday ____________________________________________________________________________________ Got a little couch potato?
