There are some dealers in this hobby who have in the past used some
questionable methods in buying and selling movie posters (buying for pennies on
the dollar by misrepresenting the value of items, selling for far over "market
value" by misrepresenting the value of items, severely over-grading items,
misrepresenting the rarity of items, selling heavily restored items as having
little restoration, etc). Many years ago I quit dealing with those people who I
believed used such tactics.

But now in the days of the Internet and tremendous communication between
collectors through discussion boards and other means, it seems it is VERY hard
for ANY dealer to successfully play the games described above, and it seems
that just about every one of those dealers has either "cleaned up their act" or
moved on to something else. I note that two of the absolute worst offenders,
major dealers who have been around "forever" and who were notorious for
cheating people, have both been on eBay for several years now and have each
maintained 100% positive feedback!

So I make the following offer to anyone who I have chosen not to deal with in
the past. I am willing to completely "bury the hatchet" and resume dealing with
you (either as buyer or seller), and we will start over and the past will be
forgotten. All I ask is that you deal with me honestly in the future, and don't
slander me on public forums!

Of course, I have no doubt there will be some who want to keep things exactly
as they are, and that is fine with me. But if you are someone who has thought
that it would be nice to find a way to end the current situation, here is your
chance! Just e-mail me at [EMAIL PROTECTED], and I will unblock you and we can
resume doing business.

Why am I making this offer? Because a couple of people who were in this
situation e-mailed ME in the past few months with a cordial "Can we go back to
how things were?", and in both cases I agreed, and there have been so problems,
so I thought, why not openly make this offer to everyone else?

Of course, there need be no public discussion of this. I just thought posting
this on MoPo would be the quickest way to "get the message out".

Maybe we CAN be like Rodney King suggested, and all just "get along"!

Bruce
