Hi MoPoer's...it's been a LONG time since I've been on this list (years, in
fact) but I always found the information shared here very helpful. Glad to be
back again.
And I do need some help...I am currently looking for either good books or
individual images for several horror posters I need hi-res images for. I
already have the following books:
Trash - Boyreau
Science-Fiction and Horror Movie Posters in Full Color - Adler
60 Great Horror Movie Posters - Hershenson
Horror Poster Art - Norman and Marsh
They are GREAT books, but I'm trying to get images for more obscure 70's and
80's horror flicks such as The Mutilator, Terror Train, Prom Night, Don't Go in
the Woods Alone, etc. I think you see where I'm headed with this! Most books
barely cover or quickly skim over the 1980's slasher sub-genre, and I'm trying
to find a collector or dealer with a nice archive of images, or a point in the
right direction of someone who can help. Mostly the stuff I want is poo-pooed
by hi-end paper collectors, but I'm dying for hi-res scans (I'm resorting to
tracking down beat up VHS copies at this point).
If anyone can help me out, either with their own scans (or posters - for the
right price) I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll gladly pay for the images I need,
and can provide a list upon request.
