Yes, this sucks, but the good thing is that anyone buying and reviewing your feedback will see that they were left in error. Even if they were not, 35,000 good versus a few black marks is not a sign that you should pack it up. I only stay away when I see a pattern emerging. Yours is far from that.

IMHO.

Again, I'm forwarding it back to the group.

I have made a huge effort to avoid negative and neutral feedback, and HAD one of the best feedback records of any high volume seller on eBay. At one point last year, I had gone 35,000 feedbacks without a single negative or
neutral.

Now in the past 30 days I have received two neutrals and a negative. Here is
what they are:

Negative: "GREAT POSTER! GOOD DEALER! Buyer: li238238 ( 16) Oct-05-07 01:22"

Neutral: Had to pay 14 quid extra at p.office cause package was over
weight.Great poster Buyer: railing67 ( 61) Oct-03-07 14:27"

Neutral: "Great transaction! seller is HIGHLY recommended!! Buyer:
4558ellens ( 70) Sep-08-07 01:51"

Obviously, two of these were left in error (they rave about how good I am and were left in the midst of many positives from the same buyer). The third is criticizing me for the customs fee they had to pay, which I obviously
have no control over (and they thought it was an "overweight" fee!).

Isn't it silly that eBay has no process for people to withdraw or change feedback clearly left in error? I COULD likely get the people to withdraw their feedback, but those withdrawals live on forever on my record, so I will just ask the guy who left the neg in error to withdraw it, and I will live with the two neutrals, for they will be gone in a year, and if they are
withdrawn they will always show.

I know that in the big scheme of things this is no big deal at all, but it IS a sign of how little eBay cares about sellers, when they won't even add a
way for a buyer to correct a feedback that was surely left in error.
