*A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE U.S. POSTERS WE ARE SELLING THIS WEEK:* This week
on eBay we are selling a very large number of three-sheet and six-sheet
posters, including some very scarce titles, some of which may never have
been at auction before. Most of the posters we are selling were actually
used in a theater, and they have defects typical with those acquired by a
poster that has been attached to a wall and then taken down again. Some of
the posters were used in theaters in other parts of the world, and some of
those have "censor stamps" on them (but, unlike one-sheets with censor
stamps, most three-sheets and six-sheets with censor stamps are stamped in
unobtrusive places, often in the blank background areas; in addition,
sometimes the censor stamps are relatively very small on these larger
posters and are much less noticeable than they would be on one-sheets). *MOST
COLLECTORS OF THREE-SHEETS AND SIX-SHEETS ARE ACCEPTING OF THE DEFECTS THAT
THEATER-USED LARGER POSTERS ACQUIRE, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT
BID ON THESE POSTERS.* Most collectors of three-sheets and six-sheets have
them linenbacked and restored prior to displaying them, and they know that
most of the defects theater-used posters acquire can be fairly easily
restored during the linenbacking process. If you are like most collectors,
and can accept the defects that most of these posters have (which
*WERE *acquired
during actual theater use!) then we think you will be very happy to have
this rare opportunity to select from such a huge number of rarely seen
larger U.S. posters!

*A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT POSTERS PRINTED IN MORE THAN ONE PIECE, AND LARGER
POSTERS THAT ARE PRINTED IN A SINGLE PIECE:* Some of the posters we are
offering this week are printed in 2 or more pieces (almost all of the
three-sheets and six-sheets, which were made before printers had the ability
to print such large posters in one piece, so they were normally printed in
two or four pieces). To give you the best possible idea of what the poster
will look like when the pieces are combined, as intended, we photograph each
piece separately and then digitally "join" the images to show you what the
entire poster looks like (when there are multiple pieces, they are printed
with extra blank borders designed to overlap, so that the pieces can be
combined to have a perfect "fit"). *BUT THE DOWNSIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHING THE
INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS BY THEMSELVES IS THAT THE LIGHTING IS NOT EXACTLY THE
SAME WHEN WE PHOTOGRAPH EACH PIECE SEPARATELY.* Often this leads to one
part of the poster appearing darker (or lighter) than the rest of the
poster. *THIS IS DUE SOLELY TO THE LIGHTING AND DOES NOT MEAN ONE PIECE IS
"DARKER" THAN ANOTHER!* If one of our posters *ACTUALLY* has significantly
different coloring from one piece to another, we *SURELY* note that in
words. This same "lighter" and "darker" issue can occur in single piece
posters, if they are very large (like three-sheets that are printed in a
single piece), because the poster is so large that the lighting may vary
from one area of the poster to another. But know that any color difference
from one section of a poster to another, or from one portion of the poster
to another, is purely due to photography and is *NOT* on the actual poster,
and when you see the poster in person, you will see that this is correct!

*On November 1st, we added 8,333 stills in 599 lots in GREAT condition
including many top titles and they close on Thursday, November 8th!* Read
more about these below, or go see them right now (with large thumbnails and
links to these on eBay for easy bidding) in our *Thursday Auction
Gallery*<http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/thursdayauctions.php>
!*
**What are some of the best items in this current Thursday auction (we list
the title of the movie, followed by how many stills that lot contains, and
some have up to a hundred stills in a single lot of a single movie!)?
Wizard of Oz (great R74 lot of 86), Gone With the Wind (R71 lot of 90),
Godfather (complete set of 12 color AND 43 B&W stills), Silk Stockings (10
color), Daisy Kenyon (12 color), One Upon a Time in the West (complete set
of 12 color), True Grit (lot of 161!!), The Cowboys (lot of 114!), One Flew
Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Saturday Night Fever (set of 8 mini LCs), American
Graffiti (lot of 12), Ten Commandments (complete set of 12 color), Ben-Hur
(lot of 93 R69 w/ great scenes!), Performance (lot of 26), Butch Cassidy and
the Sundance Kid (lot of 84), Taxi Driver (lot of 48), Mean Streets (lot of
23), Rocky (lot of 21), *and much, *MUCH* more!

Note that this is almost certainly one of the most amazing still offerings
ever! It contains just about every better movie from the mid-1960s to the
mid-1970s, plus a lot of earlier and later titles, and just about every
still is in incredible condition. *PROBABLY THE LAST TIME THAT YOU COULD
HAVE PURCHASED THIS MANY STILLS IN THIS WONDERFUL CONDITION WOULD HAVE BEEN
30 OR MORE YEARS AGO, AND YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO PURCHASE THEM DIRECT FROM A
POSTER EXCHANGE (see below for where they came from)!*

*Note that these stills come to us from three amazing sources:*
*One is from the collection of a New York City publicist *who worked in
the movie business in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was sent large
numbers of mostly black-and-white stills from movies being released at that
time, including all of the very best titles. The studios sent these stills
directly to him, to aid him in publicizing the movies (often they would also
include a sheet or several sheets with captions for the stills, or with
information about the movie). Unlike the vast majority of publicists, who
would discard the stills or give them away, this particular publicist
carefully stored all of the stills he was sent and is only now first
offering them for sale! Not only has this collection not been "picked over",
but the stills are also in remarkable condition (most look as though they
were just printed, but we assure you they were not!).
*The second collection of stills come to us from a theater owner, *and
cover much of the same time period as the above collection, but this
collection mostly contains color stills and mini lobby cards. Most of these
are in complete sets of 8 or 12, and again, many of these are in remarkable
condition, for they were never used, and carefully stored.
* The third collection comes to us from a different theater owner *and
covers a wider range of years than the above two collections, but it
includes both complete and incomplete sets, and they are slightly in lesser
condition than the above two collections (but they are still overall in
really excellent condition). *
*Putting the three collections together in one offering makes one of the
most amazing collection of stills ever offered at one time, on eBay or
anywhere else! This is like entering a time machine and going back 30 or
more years, and entering a poster exchange, and giving them a list of
titles, and having them say, "oh yes, we have all of those"!
Best of all, all of the stills are being sold with no reserve in an
opening bid of just 99 cents (per lot, *NOT* per still!). This means you
could theoretically purchase a lot of 100 stills for just a penny apiece
(and while we do not think that could happen, you may well see some of these
lots selling for just pennies per still, and probably a fair number of them
will sell for under one dollar per still, even though they are in pristine
condition!).
*SUPER IMPORTANT! MANY OF THESE LOTS CONTAIN FIVE OR MORE STILLS, BUT
ONLY FOUR (or eight) OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON EACH LOT
WILL RECEIVE THE NUMBER OF STILLS LISTED ON THE AUCTION,* and *NOT* just the
four (or eight) pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to
this, but we made no effort to find the best four stills in the lot, and, if
you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some
great stills that were not pictured! Please do *NOT* bid on these lots which
don't picture all of the stills unless you can accept that you are only
seeing four (or eight) of the stills.
Note that many of these lots contain large numbers of stills, and, in a
very few cases, there may be more than one example of the same still in a
single lot (in other words, it may be a set of say 12 stills, with 4
pictured, and 1 or more of the 8 not pictured *MIGHT* be a duplicate to one
of the pictured 4). We know it is true of only a very small number of the
lots, but we want to alert you to that possibility.
Finally, we know that you would likely hope that we could make an
exception "just for you" and find a specific lot and photographs or describe
the stills currently not pictured, *BUT WE CANNOT DO THAT FOR ANYONE*! All
of the stills are sealed and ready for mailing. We could never sell 8000
stills in a single day without doing it the way we are doing, and we ask you
to either be understanding of that, or to not bid on the stills. *THIS
REALLY IS A REALLY WONDERFUL COLLECTION OF STILLS AND UNBELIEVABLY GOOD
CONDITION, AND I WOULD THINK THAT STILL COLLECTORS (and dealers) WILL BE
THINKING ABOUT THIS AUCTION FOR SOMETIME TO COME (and kicking themselves
over some of the lots that they missed out on!).*

* WE GUARANTEE THAT EVERY STILL IN THIS AUCTION IS ORIGINAL (just like
the ones we have auctioned in the past, but these are all the better because
they come directly to us from the source!). *Why? Because these stills are
from three remarkable collections (as described above),* AND YOU DON'T HAVE
TO TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT*! We know you will agree these are surely original
stills, but if you have the slightest doubt, you can return *ANY *still
within one week for a no questions asked refund! I have sold many tens of
thousands of stills, and I *KNOW* these to be genuine, and I also know this
to be a remarkable collection of still and mini lobby card sets!

I could easily go on listing dozens more titles from either auction, but you
really need to check these out for yourself! There really are *LOTS* of
great lobby cards in both of these auctions, and it is fun to look at them
all over, even if you are only "window shopping"!

*REMEMBER THAT, IN BOTH OF OUR WEEKLY AUCTIONS (unlike some other sellers of
vintage movie paper), EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR ITEMS TRULY START AT 99 CENTS
WITH NO RESERVE ON ANY ITEM! AND WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT 99 CENTS, PLUS $9
BUYERS PREMIUM, PLUS AN OFTEN "MIS-CALCULATED" SHIPPING!* In
*OUR*auctions, you can purchase up to
*FIFTEEN* 99 cent items and your total cost is $14.85, plus a very
reasonable $7 U.S. shipping charge *for a total U.S. cost for those 15 items
of just under $22 for ALL fifteen items (if you solely buy stills, then we
just charge a flat $5 U.S. shipping, which means you pay under $20 for the
15 still lots, which COULD contain up to 1,000 stills in all!).*

Remember that *YOU* can't get the great deals that happen week after week in
our auctions if you aren't bidding! *AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!* If you
place a bunch of fairly low bids but only get one or two items, then you are
sure to be happy, for you will have gotten some really good deals. Even if
you place a bunch of bids and get nothing at all, you will only be out a
little of your time, and no more.

*Do you know about **our Tuesday and Thursday **Auction Galleries?* One of
the worst kept "secrets" in the movie poster hobby is that it is *FAR *easier
to look at our items through our *Tuesday Auction
Gallery<http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php>(
http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php) *and our* Thursday
Auction Gallery <http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/thursdayauctions.php> (
http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/thursdayauctions.php)*. When you look
at our items on eBay, you do not see an image of the item until you open the
auction, which is very time consuming (we don't use their "gallery" image,
both because it is absurdly overpriced and because the gallery image is too
tiny to see any details). So instead, we have our own *Tuesday Auction
Gallery <http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php> *and
our* Thursday
Auction Gallery <http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/thursdayauctions.php>*,
both of which have much larger images of each item, so that you can
determine if an item interests you *BEFORE *you click on it, thus making
your surfing time far more productive. *PLUS *these galleries are
searchable by star, director, genre, year, or anything you want to search
for! Once you discover our galleries we would be amazed if you go back to
looking at our items directly on eBay.
The prices in our galleries* *update every 5 minutes, so the price
under each item can only be up to 5 minutes old. Generally, this is no big
deal, *EXCEPT *if you are looking at items as they are closing, then we
recommend you bid on the actual eBay page (which is easily accessed from our
gallery pages).
But because so many of our bidders now use our gallery, on rare
occasions it has overwhelmed our server, and some of our bidders have not
been able to access it, especially right when the auctions are closing.
Worse yet, an outage in our server means that you can't see the images on
our eBay auctions, because our large and super-sized images are housed on
the same server as our *Tuesday Auction
Gallery*<http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php>.
*SO WE HAVE ALSO CREATED BACKUP "MIRROR"
VERSIONS<http://www.emovieposter.info/>OF OUR CURRENT AUCTION IMAGE
GALLERIES.
* They are located at *http://www.emovieposter.info *and are available if
our main gallery is down, so the only time you want to use it is whenever
you *CAN'T* access our regular *Tuesday Auction
Gallery<http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/currentauctions.php>
*and our* Thursday Auction
Gallery<http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/thursdayauctions.php>
*, *OR* when you can't view some or all of the images on our auctions (even
if you can't see them on eBay, you will be able to see them in our backup
galleries). You will likely either never need it, or only use it once, but
if you are a regular bidder in our auctions, it will be invaluable to you
the day you *DO* need it, for you will be able to see all of our large
images, and use this "mirror" version of our Current Auction Image Gallery,
even though the main version is unavailable. *PLEASE ADD
http://www.emovieposter.info TO YOUR FAVORITES/BOOKMARKS.*

*We have lots of great auctions coming up!*
On *Tuesday November 6th *we will add hundreds of unfolded (or folded
then stored rolled) non-U.S. posters, from countries such as Poland,
Germany, Sweden, France, and much more!*
* On *Thursday November 8th*, we will add hundreds of unfolded (or folded
then stored rolled) Japanese posters and Italian locandinas!

Good luck on whatever you may bid on in either of our sets of current
auctions ending on *November 6th or November 8th*!

*If you want to be sure to keep up with everything we are currently
auctioning, you should consider joining our great weekly e-mail club (over
1,900 members!). *This club will keep you informed about everything we are
selling through just *ONE *e-mail a week, and many weeks we make great bonus
offers to club members who buy multiple items from us on eBay! So if there
is *ANY* chance at all that you might end up buying a number of items from
us on eBay in future weeks, then you have a *LOT* of incentive to join the
club (if you are not already a member) because we will keep on giving away
excellent prizes to those members of the club who buy multiple items. Note
that we have recently revamped and greatly improved this club! It no longer
is a very long e-mail (it is now just a very brief e-mail, with a link to
the message on our site), and we now run fun weekly polls, which a couple of
hundred participate in each week, with great prizes for randomly selected
members!
*Why not join the club today* (if you are not already a member)? You'll
at most receive *ONE* e-mail a week, and your e-mail address is
*NEVER*given out to anyone, and you have a great chance to win great
prizes, and
you can quit anytime! Just go to
http://www.emovieposter.com/mail/clubsignup.php and fill out the super
simple form, and you will be a member, and qualify for the great club
bonuses!

*B**e sure to check out our 853 TUESDAY ITEMS on eBay **(on our "
emovieposter.com" account) **sometime BEFORE they end Tuesday, November 6th,
beginning around 7 PM CST and also be sure to check out our 599 THURSDAY
LOTS of stills on eBay **(on our "movieposter" account) **sometime BEFORE
they end Thursday November 8th, beginning around 7 PM CST *(either by going

items, or by using the link from our *HOME* page,
http://www.emovieposter.com or by finding us by our eBay user ID,

then once you see how honestly we describe them and how we charge only the
actual shipping cost and how we send them right out promptly and
well-packed, that you will declare your independence from those auction
houses with the outrageous buyers premiums, the over-graded items, the
misleading images that obscure defects, and the outrageous shipping! *Good
luck on whatever you may bid on.*
