Howdy y'all,
I'm looking for any half sheet printed in 1953 for
20th Century Fox for a printing comparison.
I recently purchased a half sheet and am not 100%
convinced that it is 'the real thing'. I have several
1 sheets from that era ... but not quite 'apples to
apples'.
To the naked eye, it passes easily, (printing, paper,
etc.).
Using 30x magnification, the Union Label logo ink has
aroused some suspicions.
If anyone in MOPOland has an half-sheet (22x28) from
that year for that studio and is able to post to me
for comparison, I'll gladly supply shipping costs.
Hopefully, results will be favorable. If not ... there
will be bad news for more than just moi.
