And, quite a few who didn't wrong you as well... ;o) ----- Original Message ----- From: Bruce Hershenson To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, January 31, 2008 5:32 PM Subject: [MOPO] What I think of Phil Edwards I was away for three days at the eCommerce forum, where the 200 highest grossing eBay sellers are invited annually. I will be posting about what occurred there in my weekly e-mail club. But someone e-mailed me a link a short while ago to an online poster forum where a poster expert posted an extremely lengthy post that gives images and corrections of 11 of my current items, mostly from Australia and New Zealand. When I receive e-mails with corrections, all of you know that we immediately add to the auction and e-mail all bidders with the details of the correction. I do not care that these corrections were not e-mailed directly to me, and never do, as long as I learn of them. Unfortunately, Phil Wages, who does these corrections (and so much more) is out with a very bad flu, and the doctor told him to stay in bed until Monday. If he can't do the corrections before then, I will simply end the auctions Monday morning (it is no big deal either way, as they are very minor posters, to say the least). The person who e-mailed me the link closed with "What do you think of Phil Edwards?", and that was very easy to answer. I replied, "But I don't think of Phil Edwards", and truthfully I don't. Many years ago I would waste large amounts of time bearing grudges against those who wronged me (often those who were jealous of my success, and spread half-truths or outright lies about me. It took me 41 years to learn how misplaced my priorities were. In my 41st year, my first son was born, and the next 11 years saw the birth of my other four children. I saw how incredibly forgiving they were towards me, and I have made a huge effort to be the same way towards everyone I encounter. Now I spend my time thinking about people and events that matter in my life, and I find I have no trouble spending no time on insignificant people and events, and I am much the happier for it.
